The Açores Islands

The Açores are islands which form an archipelago. They’re situated in the Atlantic between America and Europe. The official language is Portuguese. Two years ago, during my holidays, I went to one of the main islands ; its name is Pico.  The Açores are known for "whalewatching" too. In fact, many marine mammals stay in the waters of the archipelago.

Oceanographers present on the island suggest to the tourist swimming with dolphins with complete freedom ind the sea and observing mammals like whales or killerwhales. On top of that, you can be lucky and see cracked sharks. The archipelago of the Açores attracts tourists and its inhabitants are extremely warm.
