   "Zoukin"

Nyungura Corneille was born in 1977 in Germany from Rwandan parents. In 1993 he won the contest "Discovered 1993" on the Rwanda television. Corneille left his country because it was devastated by the fights between Hutus and Tutsis. He went to Germany before he joined Canada, where he attended training sessions on communication. Then he met Gage Pierre and Gardy Martin, and they created O.N.E, an R&B band.
The Zoukin title, written and composed by Corneille, was at the top of the Canadian hit parade.

This success contributed to introducing the band, which sang in the first parts of Isabelle Boulay. In 2001, Corneille left the group O.N.E to takecare of his career solo. He made many projects in 2002, like the compilation "Cocktail R’NB 2," which features his song "This Evening". He also wrote and composed " If one liked " for the artists against violence like Passi or Nadiya. At the beginning of 2003, the young man published his first solo album:" Because one comes from far".

I would like to thank Julien for this article about Corneille because I like him very much. I'm a fan of the singer, of course, but also of the man. Indeed, he lived a lot of sad things that he tells in his album. So I think that he deserves to succeed now. Moreover, Corneille talks about other things than all the singers in his songs : LOVE. He talks about respect, his origins and society. Finally, I advise everybody to get Corneille's album because it's a real message of peace and it reminds us that all our "little" problems are nothing.

Congratulations, Julien, for your article about Corneille. I'm a fan of this singer and I think your article is very interesting but you have not explained everything about his life and his pains. In his songs, this singer explains how to live your life simply and how not to take care of little problems. It's a pity that you haven't put more songs, but your article is really interesting!!

I have a lot of respect for this singer. His past is very shocking. All of Corneille’s family died in Rwanda when he was younger. The texts of his songs are very interesting and his songs are pleasant to hear with his voice.

This article about Corneille is great! I have his latest album, and me being from Rwanda it really touched me!! He really touched me in so many ways. I’m going to see him in concert in France as I have heard he’s putting on a concert! I think it’s going to be great!! Great work!
