Today, pollution is one of the first problems of the world. And to produce electricity pollutes a lot. Because a big part is produced by nuclear thermal power stations which use radioactive materials. Yes, these stations produce a lot, but in the long term the're very dangerous and bad for the Earth. The European Union lays out other ways of production like : Hydroelectric dams: This way is less polluting than the nuclear way, but it totally changes the landscape of the valleys. We have to destroy cities to build them, and a dam changes the course of the river, it creates a lake. So this modification can produce very important floods. Solar panels : This way is not very productive but it's not polluting.
|
Wind mills : This way is productive and not polluting. It changes the landscape but it's not noisy as many people think. Moreover wind mills aren’t placed near houses. A wind mills farm needs just one specialised technician. Today France uses primarily nuclear thermal power stations, thermal power stations with coal or fuel, and hydroelectric dams. But in other countries of the E.U like Belgium or the Netherlands , they use primarily wind mills. So France is late ! !
Don't you think wind mills are the best way to produce electricity ?
