Is it good to go to a foreign country for one year in form 11?

This question is important for many pupils. In form 10 they have the opportunity to decide if they want or don īt want to go to another country. The pupils who will take part in an exchange must be able to have a good report. That is to say no 5 (failed) and no 4 (just passed) in the main subjects. If they have a good report they have the chance to skip form 11, but other pupils who have worse reports have to repeat this school year.

It īs a good thing to go to a foreign country. There you can improve your languages, get to know the other country, other people, their cultures, their customs and their way of life. Another difference lies between the schools. Schools, for example, in America offer different subjects like Photography and Media.

In a foreign country you also learn something new, you learn to prepare youself for new situations and you learn to accept anything.
At this point you again have the question either to stay at host family, where you have to get along with the family, or at boarding school which is very expensive.

On the other hand it īs a real pity that you won īt see your family and your friends for one year. You are in a foreign country, alone.

But if you do not want to go to a foreign country yet and stay with your family instead, you can also go to another country after school. Then you can even choose how long you will go.
