Guns N’Roses is an American hard rock band. Their dangerous reputation have made them one of the most popular rockn’roll bands ever and with this reputation they get a worldwide popularity.

GNR’s were founded in Los Angeles in June 1985. They incorporated punk, blues, trash and other genres of music into the popular heavy metal music, of the time. The band was formed by singer Axel Roses, guitarists Tracii Guns and Izzy Stradlin’, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Rob Gardner, at this time, but the members of the band changed the following years.

The name of the band was formed from a combination of the latest names of Guns and Roses.

Though Hair Metal dorminated the 1980s, GNR’s had their own style.

So the best time of GNR’s was from 1987-1993. But after this period, the problems like drug abuse or alcohol dependence of the different band members, broke GNR’s after times.

After that time the band members changed practically every week. So amazing is that the band had a success with their 2 albums `Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 `, after that time. So the success story went on.

But though they came back in 1999 with new band members, they hadn’t so much success as they had in the 1980s. At that time they cancelled many concerts and the big North America-tour. Rumors said that Axl Roses got a physical illness, but Roses has not given a press conference since 1994, so nobody knows if it is true.

The last album ’Greates Hits’ was published in March 2004.

Dear Vanessa,
Reading your article, I was very surprised about the history of the band. It was interesting to read that the band members changed nearly every week and that they had a problem with drugs. I liked that you explained how they got the name of the band and the way you described the sort of music was fantastic.
So all in all I can say that your article is very good and I liked it a lot. This article should be read by every music fan.
