Even if you live in a cave, how don’t you know the story and the success of Harry Potter today? Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth volume of Harry Potter and was adapted to the cinema and directed by Mike Newell.

This year, Harry arrives in his school called Hogwarts but the director Dumbledore announces that Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament, one of the most exciting and dangerous of the wizarding community's magical competitions. One champion will be selected from each of the three most prestigious wizarding schools to compete in a series of life-threatening tasks in pursuit of winning the coveted Triwizard Cup which will give the winner eternal glory.

The 3 champions chosen for the cup are :

- Victor Krum (a famous world's quidditch player) who represents Durmstrang's school

- Fleur Delacour who represents Beauxbatons' School

- Cedric Diggory (the most popular boy in the school after Harry Potter of course) who represents Hogwarts' school

But then, inexplicably, the Goblet spits out one final name: Harry Potter although he didn’t put his name in the cup because the age limit is 17 and he is 15. So he has to compete with the others.

I’m going to stop specially at one part of the movie : the 3 tasks.

The first task consists in trying to steal a dragon’s egg ( each champion has a different dragon). It can seem easy but when this dragon believes that the egg it is sitting on its its baby…

The 4 champions manage to steal their egg. Now, when they open it, a crazy noise sounds and in fact this noise is a message which is understandable only when you take a bath.

The message is only an indication for the second task: it tells him that this task will take place under the sea. So he must find a solution to breathe under the water and he decides to transform himself into a kind of fish.

On the D day of this task, he discovers that he must liberate his friend Ron who is imprisoned under the sea but the problem is the monsters…..

To finish, the 3rd task. The 4 champions penetrate into a vast and a dangerous labyrinth full of monsters and traps in order to find the famous cup.

So, after a long and dangerous race Harry and Cedric arrive at the cup at the same time and win together……..

But there is a new problem : the cup transports them to a graveyard and that’s where Voldemort comes back again with all his power to do evil in the world. That’s when Cedric will be killed by a follower of Voldemort and Harry succeeds with difficulty in running away from this graveyard and informing Dumbledore, the only man who can kill Voldemort.

So I’m not going to narrate the whole story because I will not finish tomorrow but I’m going to tell you my impression and my feeling about the movie.

Before seeing this movie I knew that it would be better than the others because there is a lot of action, suspense and that’s where you see the most spiteful man who frightens and kills a lot of people and comes back with his powerful powers to do evil in the world.

To conclude I loved the special effects, the sound effects and the direction of this film even I think it is too short.

I liked your idea to write about the Harry Potter film. I think it was really successful in the world, in many countries. But in my opinion the films are not as good as the books. In the books your fantasy makes all the pictures and the films use too many special effects. So the books are much better.
