The MVP in the NBA of the Season 05/06

by Peter (Oct 22, 2005)

MVP means: Most Valuable Player.

The National Basketball Association, better known as NBA, is divided up into six sixth:

1. Atlantic Division

2. Central Division

3. Northwest Division

4. Pacific Division

5. Southeast Division

6. Southwest Division

The season is split in two halves: The Season and the Playoffs. During the year every team has to play against another team three or four times. Then the best 16 teams of the season get into the Playoffs.

There are two battles for the ranking. At first in the pre-season and then in the All-Stars Game. But the most wanted title is the MVP in the pre-season.

Some people think this year will be the last year of the fantastic superstar Shaquille O’Neal. Because of that many fans also think he will win the ranking of the MVP in the season 05/06. Others think the 2002 winner Jason Kidd can win and defeat Shaquille O’Neal. And some people think Dirk Nowitzki will win, but these are just Germans.Or will Kevin Garnett, the winner of 2004 win??

The answers will be on the homepage:

www.nba.com

Jason Kidd
PG
ShaquilleO’Neal
C
Dirk Nowitzki
PF
Steve Nash
PG
Kevin Garnett
SG
TracyMcGrady
PF
LeBron James
SF
Vince Carter
SF
Kobe Bryant
SG

These are favourites for the ranking of the MVP in the season 05/06.

And I think Jason Kidd who plays on the Position PG (Pointguard) will win just like in the season 2002. He plays perfectly well and makes many assists for the other members of the New Jersey Nets. There are Vince Carter, another favourite for the title, and Brandon Armstrong.

And another question in the NBA is who will win the championship. Many think it will be the Miami Heat with their star Shaquille O’Neal. But I think the New Jersey Nets have better chances for winning because they are the only team with two favourites for winning the title of the MVP: Jason Kidd and Vince Carter.
