French rock band composed of one girl and
three boys : Jean-Louis Aubert with the guitar and the song, Louis
Bertignac guitar and song too, Corinne Mariennau with the bass and the
song, and Richard Kolinka with the drum. In the middle of the seventies,
Saint-Cloud suburbs of Paris, Jean-Louis, Louis, Corinne and Richard
meet and form the French rock band Téléphone. They give their first
concert in 1976. In 1977, the first album Téléphone of the band is
released. The band has a good reputation of scene’s band. Two years
later, the second album "Crache ton venin" is released. The
band knows a big success and even performs in front of more than 100,000
people in the open air. In 1980, they record the album "Au Coeur de
la Nuit". The band knows its apogee with the exit of "Dure
limite". They even make the first part of the concert of the Rolling Stones in Auteuil. They begin a tour around the world
which takes them along to the USA, to Quebec and to Japan. |
After the return from their tour, Téléphone record their fifth album "Un autre monde" in 1984. Rumours run saying that the band would not get along any more. On April 21st 1986 the band separates. The legend can begin. In 2000 appears the live Paris’81.
