  L'hymne de nos campagnes

TRYO is a quartet. The members are : Guizmo, Manu Eveno, Christophe Mali and Daniel Bravo. At the start TRYO is a reggae band (reggae acoustic), but as one goes along the album this influence is less present.

The band TRYO is from the south suburbs of Paris. At the beginning, in 1992, Manu and Guizmo form the band M'Panada. They are regular visitors of the MJC of Fresnes where they meet Christophe Mali who integrates them in his musical comedy in 1994. One year after, they go with about fifteen friends to the Pyrenees for holidays. They sing together and realize that their voices make a good mixture. Back to Fresnes, they create TRYO and are in charge of a first part of a concert at the MJC.

From 1996 to 1997, the band moves on live with a big success. Their first album is issued independently in the end of 1997 : Mamagubida. For this album, Daniel Bravo is the new member of the band. The most commited songs are : "La Révolution", "Suprématie", "Regardez les" or "La Misère d'en Face". Their music is at the service of ecology ("L'hymne de nos campagne"), human relations ("Yakamonéyé"), solidarity and anti-globalization.

1998, they sign a contract with Yelen Musiques (Columbia/Sony). Mamagubida is reissued in 1999 (300,000 copies). TRYO creates his structure : " Salut Ô Productions " and issues his second album : "Faut qu'il s'activent." in 2000. This album is a kind of continuation of the first album with committed songs : "Con Par Raison", "Les Extrêmes", "La Lumière". They also produce a calmer song ("La Mer").

Their third album : "Grain de Sable" is issued in 2003. It's certainly their best album. In this album they talk about anti-globalization ("G8"), anti-Americanism ("Dans les nuages"), anti mass consumption ("Sortez-les"), anti-conformism ("Pas Pareil").

The last album of TRYO : "De Bouches à Oreilles" is issued in 2004. It is a live concert at the Olympia and at the "Cabaret Sauvage" with all their best songs.

TRYO is a very committed band who expresses his ideas about important subjects.
